WebTrak provides information on aircraft operated only from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport, including the flight number, the type of plane, the altitude and the flight path followed.

Where does WebTrak information come from?

The application processes the information from radar and flight plan data provided by the Torrejón air traffic control centre (ACC-Madrid) and from noise data from the Noise Monitoring Terminals (TMR) located in the surrounding towns. This information is displayed on maps of the area.

Is the information provided by WebTrak reliable?

The information is completely reliable. The TMR's are checked yearly in an official laboratory, in compliance with the Law on Metrology and Technical Instruction ITC 2845/2007 dated 25 September. Furthermore, in compliance with the Law on Metrology, all of the TMR's have passed the tests necessary to have the Model Approved in Spain label.

Moreover, all the TMR's are checked daily using certified technical procedures that ensure the accuracy of the measurements. In addition, the graphic representation of the flight paths is checked twice a year by means of a “flight gauging” test run by the laboratory of flight paths and flight tests in the “Esteban Terradas” National Institute of Aerospace Technology (Ministry of Defence).

Is the information in “real time” or is there a delay set?

For security reasons, the flight path information is displayed with a 30 minutes delay. Noise level information correlated with the aircraft that produced the noise may suffer a 24-hour delay.

What time period may be consulted in WebTrak?

Historic data over a period of 60 days may be consulted.

What time period may be consulted in WebTrak?

Green stands for take-offs and red for landings of aircraft operated at all times by Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport.

What is the geographical scope of WebTrak?

The aircraft operated by Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport flying below 25,000 ft (7,620 m) and located in a rectangular area centred on the airport and with sides of 180 x 180 km will be shown.

What technical requirements does the user's computer need to access WebTrak?

The computer on which WebTrak information is accessed must have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed. In addition, it must have at least the following characteristics:
