Scholarships - Training courses - Master in Airport System Management XXVII edition 2021

OPEN CALL FOR THE 2021 SECOND SEMESTER

NOTICE: Due to the situation caused by the evolution of COVID-19, the 2021 courses will be carried out online.

Aena SME S.A. and the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) jointly organise and schedule the project, which includes allocating and funding various scholarships for different modules from the Master's Degree in Aeronautical System Management programme for 2021, to be given by the School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering (Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Aeronáutica) at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. The Aena International Cooperation Programme is designed for civil aviation professionals in countries with historical ties to Spain, as well as those in any other country with technical cooperation needs, for the purpose of training professionals and helping develop air transport in these countries.

For the Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Systems Management, the following modules are open:

2021 second semester

  • 10 scholarships for the "Civil Aeronautics Management and Regulations" course (from the 27th of September to the 7th of October 2021)
  • 10 scholarships for the "Sustainability and the Environment" course (from the 11th to the 22nd of October 2021)
  • 10 scholarships for the "Airport Operations Management" course (from the 8th to 19th of November 2021)

We are not ruling out the possibility of creating additional modules based on need or demand, or increasing the number of scholarships available per module, always allowing for budget availability.

Scholarships require attendance and monitoring of and classes and activities planned, as noted in Appendix I.

Scholarships will be given preferably to candidates from public institutions and those whose professional careers are directly linked with the course’s goals. A letter of recommendation will be taken into account as well as any other institutional document endorsing the application.

The application period ends 30 days prior to the beginning of the corresponding module.

Once this period has reached its deadline, the selection process will begin and the result will be relayed to both the selected and non-selected candidates. Candidates who have not been selected for a module will be able to apply for a place in subsequent modules by submitting a new application, if they have not already submitted a multiple application for various courses, in which case they will not need to resubmit their application.

Selected candidates who do not confirm acceptance of the scholarship before reaching the deadline given will automatically lose this scholarship and alternate candidates will be selected.
