  • Aena has a free assistance service for passengers with reduced mobility at all the airports in its network. You can ask for this service through your airline, on the Aena website or by calling the Aena information helpline (+34) 91 321 10 00.
  • To make sure that the service can be provided, we recommend that you ask for assistance at least 48 hours before the departure of your flight. Remember that you should always report your needs to your airline to ensure your seat on the plane.
  • Due to the safety measures taken at airports to protect service staff and passengers, assistance may be delayed. Whenever possible, it is advisable to arrive at the airport earlier than indicated in the service conditions.
  • Using a facemask is compulsory at the airport and you must wear one in order to use the service. It will not be compulsory for people where its use is inadvisable on reasonable health grounds.
  • We recommend you frequently use the hand sanitiser available throughout the airport.
  • Companions are forbidden inside the terminal except in special circumstances, such as when a passenger requires assistance (reduced mobility, hidden disabilities, etc.).
  • Whenever possible avoid using paper documents and replace them with electronic documents. If the assistance is recorded on paper instead of on an electronic device, the user will be asked for an email address to which proof of assistance can be sent instead of handing over the hardcopy. If no email address is available, a text will be sent to the mobile number provided.
